Photo Shoot in Our Desert Oasis

Last week I had so much fun taking pictures of my niece for her blog I Spy Fashion Diary.  http://ispyfashiondiary.blogspot.com/  She will be posting more pretty fashions and photos from this day, so stop by her blog to check them out.  I love her purple blazer, black heels, and that fun hat. 

We have this really beautiful park here in the desert of Tucson, Arizona called Agua Caliente Park.  It is truly a desert oasis due to it's year-round springs that bring a constant flow of water to this park.  These palm trees have been growing for many years creating a thick, dense forest of palms.  Some trees even grow out of other trees!  It is so pretty.  The ducks and turtles are adorable, too.  This park is definitely enchanted with many nooks and crannies to call home to critters and magical creatures alike. ;-}

Today I thought I would share one of my favorite jewelry designers from Italy.  I made this wintery slideshow of her work and put it on my website.  I wanted to post it sooner but I have been tired and busy from seeing a midnight showing of Harry Potter Thursday night!  I loved it, of course.  But we didn't get home until 3:30 in the morning and I still had school in the morning.  Tired!  Hopefully I can manage to go see it again over Thanksgiving week.  Once is never enough when it is one of my favorite movies.
 

I also have a bunch of new merchandise in home decorating that I will be putting on my website soon.  So be sure to check back often.  I will also be announcing a bunch of great holiday sales  from fashion to decorating. 

Getting Real

Jessica Simpson has been known for "getting real" about a woman's weight in the past couple of years.  Everybody wants to look their best.  But it is important to remember while trying to your best that doesn't mean perfect.  And what is one persons best for their body type is something entirely different for someone else.

I am excited to now be an affiliated with Fashion 58!  They carry a selection of designer items, but I can tell Ed Hardy is their favorite.  Ed Hardy has a lot of fun rocker-style fashions if you want to add a little "attitude" to your outfit.
