Tucson Treasure Map~ Choose Your Own Ending!

Display of Tucson, AZ treasure map

Unfinished map waiting for you to choose your own ending! More graphics and clues are drawn in then the map gets burned to aged perfection!

Close up example of clues added to the map. The main riddle is in the bottom right corner of this map. There is also a street number on an old west sign post plus a clue to unscramble telling the treasure hunter more details where to go.

Picture of Agua Caliente Park from the Northeast side of Tucson. This park is a natural desert oasis and a great suggestion for your treasure map. I lived on the east side of Tucson for 5 years before going out and discovering this beautiful park. If you live in Tucson and haven't been here yet, go check it out!

Trail Dust Town is also on the east side of Tucson. Great replica with old west vibe. There are a couple restaraunts to choose from, shopping, re-enactment show, train ride, and a bunch of locations to hide your treasure!

You can also choose a restaraunt as your ending or addition to your map. This picture is of Ric's Cafe on River Road. I have often arranged for a waitor or waitress to hand off clues or deliver special items applicable to my date. So many restaurants offer atmosphere that add to a memorable occasion.

Finished map I made for my parents 50th Anniversary. They had to solve the riddles on the map to find their treasure. When they got to their destination my sister, neice and son, and myself were the surprise treasure! We live in Utah now and made a surprise trip down for their anniversary. It was an excellent surprise and great success! Plus they have the map as a keepsake of the special day.

An Enchanted Winter Escape

I confess that I am one of those people who loudly complains of the heat here in Arizona during our long summer months.  Our short winter here is my "summer"!  It is a chance to explore areas here in the desert and really appreciate their magic and beauty.  Our Agua Caliente park is one of those and it is truly a desert oasis due to a miraculous natural spring.  (Miracle because it's water.)

Here are some pictures that I took the week before I took my niece here for her fashion blog photos.  http://ispyfashiondiary.blogspot.com/  I love the forest of palm trees, friendly ducks floating everywhere, and notice the turtles!  Too cute!  And the believer in me is sure that there are fairies merrily hiding around every little nook and cranny, keeping a watchful eye on their beautiful home.  So for everyone out there in the cold...here is a little winter escape.

Photo Shoot in Our Desert Oasis

Last week I had so much fun taking pictures of my niece for her blog I Spy Fashion Diary.  http://ispyfashiondiary.blogspot.com/  She will be posting more pretty fashions and photos from this day, so stop by her blog to check them out.  I love her purple blazer, black heels, and that fun hat.

We have this really beautiful park here in the desert of Tucson, Arizona called Agua Caliente Park.  It is truly a desert oasis due to it's year-round springs that bring a constant flow of water to this park.  These palm trees have been growing for many years creating a thick, dense forest of palms.  Some trees even grow out of other trees!  It is so pretty.  The ducks and turtles are adorable, too.  This park is definitely enchanted with many nooks and crannies to call home to critters and magical creatures alike. ;-}

Long and Beautiful

With the holidays coming up, I thought I would share a collection long and beautiful gowns from several different designers.  Like BG Haute Collection, Jovani, Mac Dugall, Interlude, and Tony Bowls.  We have a really unique store here in Tucson, Arizona called Maya Palace.  They carry a lot of original and beautiful designer clothes that I just love.  I think some of the clothes are special order from their website, but check it out.  There are tons of pretty dresses!
