Skinny Scarves

Handmade Gifts

"There is always room to throw on a skinny scarf around your neck or even your hips! Many of these are from my store.  I love wearing them as belts and as you'll notice mine all have a fairy or a mermaid hanging from them. Lots of possibilities! Plus they are sale right now.  I ship out fast for Christmas, too."

An Enchanted Winter Escape

I confess that I am one of those people who loudly complains of the heat here in Arizona during our long summer months.  Our short winter here is my "summer"!  It is a chance to explore areas here in the desert and really appreciate their magic and beauty.  Our Agua Caliente park is one of those and it is truly a desert oasis due to a miraculous natural spring.  (Miracle because it's water.)

Here are some pictures that I took the week before I took my niece here for her fashion blog photos.  http://ispyfashiondiary.blogspot.com/  I love the forest of palm trees, friendly ducks floating everywhere, and notice the turtles!  Too cute!  And the believer in me is sure that there are fairies merrily hiding around every little nook and cranny, keeping a watchful eye on their beautiful home.  So for everyone out there in the cold...here is a little winter escape.

Wrap Up Some Warmth with Handmade Style

Handmade Gifts
Wrap up some warmth this winter with unique, one of a kind designs with handmade style.  There are sooo many pretty things to be found on sites like Artfire.com, Fuzzb.co, etc.
I put this collection together with some of my favorite pieces.  The "keychain" belt is mine and actually works great as a skinny scarf.  My belt collection all have fantasy keychains on them.  Add more links and charms and keys to personalize it.  Adds a fun youthful touch, in a Hello Kitty sort of a way.
Enjoy browsing!

Snow and Ice

Handmade Gifts

Here is my latest collection that I created on Artfire.  I love the cooling comfort I get from it living down here in the HOT dry desert.  I don't deal well with heat (Thursday was a 102!)  So today when some unseasonably dark clouds blew in I happily began reminiscing about my winters in Alaska and the one January back in 1990 that I was in Norway.  I was traveling with Up With People through Norway going from Oslo to Alesund.  We saw the most amazing colored ice walls on that bus ride.  So Beautiful!

These candleholders and wolf table are a few of the things I sell on my website.  So feel free to check it out at http://gypsygdesigns.com
