I Love New York City!

View of New York skyline from Central Park

Gorgeous trail through Central Park

Do you love New York City and Central Park?
The bottom picture of a trail through Central Park has
12 hearts hidden within the picture. Can you find all 12?
You may need to save the picture to view a larger image.
Feel free to keep as a wallpaper.
This beautiful picture was taken by my niece, Holly.
She has a bit of the gypsy spirit in her like her Aunt.
I am dying to make a trip out to see her now
that she is living in Connecticut.
I have a great idea for a treasure map
of Central Park!

Fortunately Holly is far enough inland that
they did not suffer too badly from the recent hurricane.
Hope all will recover quickly in that region.
I am from Arizona and haven't ever experienced
a natural disaster. We just had to endure
life-sucking heat! Which is why I got out!

Fairy Wishes

Here are a few fairy wishes for everyone. My goal is to create a world around me that is filled with wonder, amazement, and creativity. Then I want to be able to travel around sharing that world with others. So many artists inspire me to keep dreaming and to keep trying! I am grateful for all the inspiration from so many creative people out there. Keep dreaming and never stop believing.

One day before releasing a new book for adults, J.K. Rowling has admitted that there could be more "Harry Potter" books in the future.

Although the 47-year-old has moved away from children's books with "The Casual Vacancy" recently, Rowling said if she stumbles upon "a fabulous idea" soon, there could be another "Harry Potter" book.
"Harry Potter truly liberated me in the sense that there's only one reason to write, for me- if I genuinely have something I want to say, and I want to publish it," the author explained to BBC. "Now if I had a fabulous idea that came out of that world- because I loved writing it- I'd do it."

Ruoxing Zhang Artist

I found this artist on Facebook today. I love the softy, etherial look of her artwork. I also found this website for digital artists, but have not found where and if she sells prints. http://zs1985.cgsociety.org/gallery/ She lives in Beijing, China. I love viewing portfolios online, but once they get you hooked on an artist, I want to know where buy their work. I will keep looking, as I love surrounding myself with fairies, gypsies, mermaids, and of course, the color purple! Not to mention treasure maps! GypsyGDesigns.com

Faux Rocks with Secret Stones

I finally posted my "faux rocks" for sale in my Artfire store! I actually got everything done on my "to do" list today. Feels like a miracle! I made these fake rocks for "The Treasure of The Secret Stones". They are fun finds on a treasure/scavenger hunt with a secret surprise inside. The hidden treasure inside can vary depending on your needs and creativity. A secret message would be excellent! Here are the basic instructions to make your own. Or if you don't have the time, I can make them for you! They cost $1 a piece. They are inexpensive to make, just time consuming. Wrap the stone with damp pieces of ripped paper. You can use something lightweight like newspaper for the inner layer. For the outer layer use ripped pieces of brown paper bags dipped in watered-down glue. The glue mixture can be pretty runny. Lay on wax paper to dry. These can take a couple of days to dry completely. So be sure to allow yourself plenty of time in advance. Whether you buy some from me or make your own, I would love to hear how they work out for your treasure hunt or scavenger hunt. Let me know! Have fun! http://www.artfire.com/ext/shop/product_view/5063303
